Customize the Boat House for your event
From weddings to corporate team-building, the Lewis and Clark Boat House and Museum offers unique spaces, an historic setting and unrivalled convenience for your next event. Let the riverside location, covered patio, open museum space and convenient amenities fuel your imagination — while being kind to your budget.
Located on the Missouri River in historic St. Charles, our Museum and Boat House offer a unique and conveniently located venue for a variety of organizational, group and corporate events.
The classroom can accommodate between 30-50 people, dependent on your event and Covid 19 restrictions at the time. Serving outside refreshments and/or catering are permitted. Rentals include short presentations on Lewis & Clark or expedition-related topics or the facilities have provisions for audio/visual presentations, video and Internet. Parking is free and plentiful. We are located 15 minutes from Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, and minutes away from Interstate 70, numerous hotels and an easy walk to an historic shopping and restaurant district. We even have a non-denominational ordained minister on staff.
The Boat House and adjacent patio are fully equipped with electric, water, toilet facilities as well as a shower. The building is handicapped accessible and a lovely location for breakfasts, meetings, receptions and special events. Worried your event is too large? We even host the finish-line party for the 100s of participants in the annual MR-340 marathon canoe and kayak race each July.
