It’s always a “Great Day” to visit the Museum
With the 20th Anniversary of the dedication of the Boat House & Museum, it was a perfect time to invite Channel 4 to visit and learn about our wonderful facility. From beginnings on Main Street in St. Charles, to a full-length reenactment of the Lewis & Clark Expedition over three years, the Bicentennial Years of 2003-2006, the organization is rich in history. Today, visitors can see the handmade replica boats, see a National Geographic film about the expedition and learn about local and American history on the site where history happened.
